Terms of Use

By accessing or using the MYSAR platform, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Casbiro Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

MYSAR is a cloud-based student management system that allows educational institutions to manage student records, track academic performance, attendance, behaviour, and extracurricular activities. The Service includes the web platform, mobile applications (Teacher App, Parent App), and any APIs or integrations provided by us.

The Service is intended for use by educational institutions and their authorised staff. You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@casbiro.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

As an institution using MYSAR, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring all data entered into the platform is accurate, lawful, and obtained with appropriate consent where required

• Managing user access and ensuring only authorised staff can access the platform

• Complying with applicable laws, including data protection laws, in relation to the personal data of students, parents, and staff that you enter into MYSAR

• Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

All content, features, functionality, software, and branding associated with MYSAR — including but not limited to the name, logo, design, and source code — are the exclusive property of Casbiro Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your institution's internal purposes during the term of your subscription. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the Service.

You retain ownership of all data you input into MYSAR ("Institution Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your Institution Data solely to provide and improve the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your Institution Data and will not use it for any purpose beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

Access to MYSAR may be subject to subscription fees as agreed between your institution and Casbiro Solutions. All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated and are exclusive of applicable taxes.

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service. We will provide reasonable notice before any suspension.

We aim to maintain high availability of the Service and will make reasonable efforts to minimise downtime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

We are not liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability of the Service due to maintenance, technical failure, or circumstances beyond our control.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure

• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

• Use the Service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications

• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access without refund.

Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice. Upon termination, your right to access the Service will cease. We will retain your Institution Data for 90 days following termination to allow data export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Casbiro Solutions Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by your institution in the three months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kochi, Kerala, India.

We encourage resolution of disputes through good-faith negotiation before resorting to legal proceedings.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered institutions of material changes at least 14 days in advance via email or in-platform notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
